Engineered for high-density electronic assemblies, this board utilizes genuine 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape backing to securely mount FR4, polyimide, or aluminum stiffeners to the flexible substrate. This configuration protects fragile solder joints, prevents mechanical fatigue at bend points, and streamlines installation within compact device housings.

Key Features of 3M PSA Adhesive Stiffener Flex PCB

Base Materials: Polyimide (PI) base cores from 12.5µm to 50µm; copper weights ranging from 0.5oz to 2oz.
Stiffener Options: FR4 (0.2mm to 1.6mm), Polyimide (0.05mm to 0.225mm), or aluminum for enhanced thermal dissipation.
Adhesive Backing: Authentic 3M pressure-sensitive tape (e.g., 3M 467MP or 3M 9077) offering high thermal stability and shear strength.
