Notes:
For PCB fabrication, we require PCB design file in Gerber RS-274X format (most preferred), *.PCB/DDB (Protel, inform your program version) format or *.BRD (Eagle) format. For PCB assembly, we require PCB design file in above mentioned format, drilling file and BOM. Your per-board cost at every volume

Same board, different batch sizes. Because engineering setup is a fixed, one-time cost, your per-board assembly price drops as you order more — the calculator updates this live with your inputs.

Tip: adjust the calculator above and watch where your quantity lands. The cheapest unit cost is almost always a larger batch.

How this calculator works

What's in the number — and what isn't

Honesty up front: this tool prices the part of your job we can model from a few inputs. The rest is confirmed from your files.

Included: setup

Stencil, machine programming, feeder and line setup, kitting — the one-time engineering that's fixed per design.

Included: assembly labor

Per-placement SMT, through-hole and BGA labor across one or both sides, plus options like test, coating and X-ray.

Not included: components

Part prices depend on exact part numbers, quantity and availability. We quote them from your BOM, not a slider.

Not included: shipping

Freight and duties vary by destination and incoterm. We confirm them with your formal quote.

Calculator FAQ

It gives a realistic budgetary estimate for assembly labor and engineering setup, modeled the way our engineers quote — from placements, board sides, complexity, options and turnaround. It isn't a binding price, because component cost and a few design-specific factors are confirmed only after we review your Gerber and BOM. Use it as a strong ballpark to plan against, then request an exact quote.

One-time engineering setup (stencil, programming, line setup, kitting) and per-board assembly labor for SMT, through-hole and BGA placements, plus any options you tick — functional test, conformal coating, X-ray, IC programming or depaneling. It excludes the electronic components themselves and shipping.

Component prices swing widely with exact part number, order quantity and live availability, so quoting them from a slider would mislead. We price parts directly from your Bill of Materials and return an itemized, parts-included quote once you send your BOM.

Click "Email me this quote" to send your configuration to our sales engineers, or upload your Gerber and BOM through the contact form. Every quote includes a free design-for-assembly review and comes back promptly.

Yes — set any quantity from a 5-piece prototype to a 50,000-piece run. The volume chart shows how your per-board cost falls as setup spreads across more boards, so you can pick the most cost-effective batch size.

Got your estimate? Let's make it exact.

Send your BOM and Gerbers for a firm, parts-included quote and a free design-for-assembly review. Prototype or production, we're ready to build.
