Electronic Components Sourcing

Sourcing high-quality electronic components is essential to create quality products for your brand. Choosing the right parts ensures that your products are functional and useful for end users.

Our prototype runs are often a mix of large BGAs and tiny 0201 components, and we’ve had issues with other assembers on yield. PCBsync’s assembly team delivered a perfect first-run success. The board was pristine, the solder joints were impeccable under the microscope, and everything worked straight out of the box. Their attention to detail in the assembly process saved us weeks of debug time. They are now our go-to for critical prototype assembly.

Scaling from hundreds to tens of thousands of units for our smart home device presented huge supply chain and manufacturing challenges. PCBsync’s full electronic manufacturing service was the solution. They didn’t just build the PCB; they managed the entire box-build, sourced all components (even during shortages), and implemented a rigorous quality control system that drastically reduced our field failure rate. They act as a true extension of our own production team.

RO3010 0.6mm 1oz Immersion Silver 4-Layer Compact Antenna Board

Product Details

Short Description

Full Product Description

Precision-Engineered RF Performance Starts with the Right Substrate

The RO3010 0.6mm 1oz Immersion Silver 4-Layer Compact Antenna Board delivers the signal integrity, dimensional stability, and thermal reliability that high-frequency antenna designs demand. Purpose-built on Rogers RO3010 ceramic-filled PTFE laminate, this compact antenna board is the go-to solution for engineers designing GPS modules, 5G antenna arrays, automotive radar systems, satellite communication front-ends, and IoT wireless devices operating across microwave and millimeter-wave bands.

At PCBSync, every board ships fully inspected and test-verified, so your prototyping and production timelines stay on track.

Why Rogers RO3010?

Rogers RO3010 is a ceramic-filled PTFE composite engineered specifically for high-frequency circuit applications. With a dielectric constant (Dk) of 10.2 ± 0.30 and a dissipation factor (Df) as low as 0.0022 at 10 GHz, this laminate provides exceptional signal propagation characteristics that standard FR-4 simply cannot match. The high Dk value enables significant size reduction in antenna elements and microstrip patch designs — a critical advantage for compact antenna boards where PCB real estate is at a premium.

The ceramic filler delivers excellent thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), ensuring consistent electrical performance across wide operating temperature ranges from –50°C to +150°C. This makes the RO3010 substrate ideal for automotive, aerospace, and outdoor telecom environments where thermal cycling is a constant concern.

Immersion Silver Finish for Clean Signal Paths

The immersion silver surface finish provides a flat, uniform, and highly solderable pad surface — essential for fine-pitch RF component placement and controlled impedance interconnects. Compared to HASL or OSP alternatives, immersion silver maintains consistent coplanarity across dense SMT pads and delivers reliable wire-bonding compatibility. It also avoids the nickel barrier layer present in ENIG, eliminating potential signal-loss contributions at microwave frequencies.

4-Layer Stackup: Compact Without Compromise

The 4-layer construction gives designers the freedom to separate RF signal routing, ground planes, DC power distribution, and control circuitry across dedicated layers — all within a slim 0.6mm profile. Proper ground plane isolation minimizes cross-talk and enhances antenna radiation efficiency, while the thin stackup supports integration into space-constrained enclosures common in wearable devices, drone payloads, and embedded antenna modules.

Target Applications

  • 5G NR and Sub-6 GHz antenna elements
  • 77 GHz automotive radar patch antennas
  • GPS / GNSS active antenna modules
  • WLAN and Wi-Fi 6E access point antennas
  • Satellite communication (SATCOM) phased arrays
  • Industrial IoT sensor nodes with integrated antennas
  • Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication links
